The fundamental purpose of the Church is the mission to glorify God as stated in I Corinthians 10:31 “Whether, then, you, eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

The church will glorify God in Heaven and in the new earth. But while it is here on earth, the Church is to glory God by living in this world order. The Lord Jesus Christ lived to reveal the glory of God to men (John 1:11, 16).

Likewise, the Church is to reveal the glory of God to men. The mandate for this mission has been given to the Church in the Lord’s Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

To create together an atmosphere in which all who come will find a touch of God's direction and meaning in their lives.

There is so much to celebrate as this is our 50th Anniversary. We celebrated this moment in time on June 12, 2011 and this special place, and this congregation that makes this a jewel of a church, a caring community of believers that embodies its shared Christian Faith. Just as we rally to help each other at times of sorrow or loss, we now join together to count our blessings and share this happy event. We embrace our Spiritual home with gratitude.
