Dr.
Robert E. Fowler, Sr.
has served as the Senior
Pastor of the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Las
Vegas, Nevada since 1996. He is recognized across the
country for his dynamic preaching and teaching of life
changing messages. Under his leadership, the Victory
Missionary Baptist Church has grown from 230 members to
over 10,000.
He is
a graduate of the Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary and he received his Doctorate of Ministry
degree from Tyndale Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He offers
his experience and leadership as an activist who
addresses various faith-based, academic, social, civic,
legal issues and affairs in the Las Vegas, Clark County
communities. He is a recipient of countless awards
including the "Portraits of Pride Award 2007", the
Trumpet Award 2007, the "Gospel Legends Award 2007 and
was selected Pastor of the year in 2005.
Dr.
Fowler has a love for both reading and writing. He is
the author of several books including; "Cultic Seduction
of Black Americans", "Handbook on Cults", "The Marriage
Maze", "How to be Single and Satisfied" and "Unlocking
the Bible".
Dr.
Fowler serves as Board of Director on numerous Boards to
include: the Faith Works Board, Gang Task Force Board,
Parents Engagement Board with Clark County Schools, CAAN
- Caucus of African American Nevadans Board, the Las
Vegas Clark County Urban League Board and the Citizen's
Review Board in Las Vegas, Nevada to name a few. He
teaches Old and New Testament studies at the Community
College of Southern Nevada and is a local radio
personality on Sunday programs. He hosts a weekday talk
show called Morning Vitamin, and substitutes as talk
show host for the County Commissioner on the KCEP 88.1
"Straight Talk" Saturday morning program.
Dr.
Fowler is married to former Joyce Ann Mitchell, and they
have one son, Robert Jr. |
