Music Ministry

These words, the “W” words, were developed for more than memorization. They would be applied as principles and the direction for 2002, which marked another banner year for the church. And with individual responsibilities to READ, KNOW, LISTEN and OBEY the Word and Will of God, the ministry shared another focus.

• Evangelism (Intentional) 1. – Programs designed to assist the individual and church in leading others to Christ.
• Education 2. – Moving the church from membership to discipleship.
• Enrichment 3. – Specialized programs designed to strengthen segments of the church in order to strengthen the church as a whole. Families, Singles, Youth, Children, Marriage, Leadership and Staff Development.
• Empowerment 4. – Specialized programs designed to assert our leadership in the community for the purpose of elevating our society. Health/Welfare, Support Programming: such as (Adoption, Child Welfare, Family Care), Intervention, Promotion, Protestation.

Even after a fire damaged the church in 2002, Victory had the resolve to quickly repair the damage and continue God’s work. Shortly after, the church was able to hire another clerk and an additional custodian to support the ministry. A full-time minister of music was also added to assist in developing praise and worship through music, dance, sign, and step. Our Music ministry has been invited to perform all over, where they have received numerous awards.
