LOVE MATTERS

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)

In 2009 Pastor Fowler and the Victory congregation held a Biblical study titled “Love Matters”. Using the book, 40 Days of Love by Rick Warren as a guide, the same 40 day time period was used, and LOVE was the theme. The Study made it clear that LOVE should be our first priority.

Sign-ups for classes started in May of 2009. Classes began June 1, 2009 and ended July 10, 2009.

There were 6 sessions:

  2. Loving Like Jesus Loves Me (a)
  3. Loving Like Jesus Loves Me (b)
  4. Love Lets It GO
  5. Love Is Not Easily Angered
  6. The Secrets Of Lasting Love

The Classes and corresponding activities were designed to focus on Love toward GOD, Love Toward family, Love toward the church and Love toward community. The activities energized the congregation, the classes and rallies were a fun and fulfilling course of study that resulted in bringing our congregation closer together and making Victory a more loving and caring family of faith.
